Lower attenuation

Thinner and more grid lines in cell manufacturing result in less shielding and shorter conduction distance, which reduces series resistance. This reduces silver paste consumption of fine grid and improves battery reliability by increasing tolerance of hidden crack, broken grid and crack. Increasing the number of main grid lines in the weld belt can initially increase component power to an optimal value.

Stable operation high temperature

TOPCon batteries utilize N-type silicon wafers with a high minority lifetime and advanced tunneling passivation contact technique through oxide layer. This technique includes growing an ultra-thin oxide layer and doped polysilicon layer on the back of the cell to enhance interfacial passivation and the open circuit voltage of the battery. As the open-circuit voltage rises, the temperature coefficient of the component decreases.

Anti-low light environment

TOPCon components outperform PERC components in low-light conditions due to their higher series resistance and lower saturation current. In fact, TOPCon 210 components display around 0.2% better performance under low light conditions than PERC 210 components, as evidenced by comparative data.
